Winter Break Challenge

Starting today my goal for the winter break will be to get back into the swing of drawing. As I’m taking drawing winter term this seems like a good goal to have.

At the end of winter break (early January) I’ll scan all of drawings and make a post about it.

Anyone else want to join me? Maybe you could get back into the swing of something for the break.

BAD :: Blog Action Day

Today is Blog Action Day! And here I almost forgot. I just want to make a short post to point people to KIVA, which is a site that supports small bussinesses and entripenurs in developing nations with small denomonation loans.

Another organization i would donate to is Heifer which supplies animals to families around the world to help them become self sustaining. My mom used to get their catalog and donate and one day i hope i can make enough to also.

Getting ready for school to start has been nightmare and has affected the posting schedule. But there are some things that you should look for coming up in the next month. Including more theme updates, a featured posts slide show and a how-to on it, maybe a new freebie or two and a post concerning some things I have been working on at work and freelancing.

By the end of the week you whould bee a new post soon.

New Theme and Posts

I’ve been bus with work and school (working on several new websites) and been tinkering with a new theme for this site based on The Unstanderd. It should be pretty cool when it gets done but it will be awhile.

In other news i have some new posts coming up including Scriptographer plugins for Illustrator, found, photoshop brushes, and at least 1-2 new freebies

I got a Flickr! and a Twitter!

So I took the plunge and ditched my DeviantArt account for a Flickr and transferred over some old work. Flickr uploaded is really easy to use just drag and drop it will even re-size the images for you if you are in a hurry. as opposed to DeviantArt where it can take minutes just for one photo and several minutes to set up a work to be printed.

I also took the plunge and decided to give Twitter a try and so far its a pretty neat little web service. I’ve found a lot of people I watch there and several blogger who I keep track of.

Theres a few things I’ve been working on lately for this blog including sketching ideas for a new theme, a pair of font freebies including the font I made for the menu.

Also look for more to be added to other areas of the site including the about and links pages, and some previews of personal projects I’ve been doing.
